FULLERTON HOTEL, SINGAPORE, 31 August 2018 – The 5th ASEAN Air Force Education and Training - Working Group (AAFET - WG) Meeting was held from 30 August until 01 September 2018 at Fullerton Hotel, Singapore with the theme “Strengthening Friendships and Enhancing Regional Security”.
Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) was represented by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Hj Haszahaidi Bin Hj Ahmad Daud, Commander Operation Group, RBAirF and Major (U) Amierul Halpi Bin Talip, Staff Officer Grade 2 A7 Training, RBAirF.
The three main objective of this meeting is to finalize and validated the ASEAN Air Force Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief Standard Operating Procedure (AA HADR SOP) prior to approval of the ASEAN Air Chiefs. Secondly, to present the enhanced ASEAN Air Chief Conference (AACC) website and finally the approval AAFET 3 – Year Work Plan.
The 6th AAFET – WG in Brunei Darussalam next year will be hosted by RBAirF. One of the main agenda will be the AA HADR SOP to be further tested and applied during the 6th AAFET – WG Workshop as Field Training Exercise (FTX).
MESYUARAT 5th ASEAN AIR FORCE EDUCATION AND TRAINING WORKING GROUP DI REPUBLIK SINGAPURA
FULLTERTON HOTEL, SINGAPURA, 31hb Ogos 2018 – Mesyuarat 5th ASEAN Air Force Education and Training – Working Group (5th AAFET – WG) telah diadakan pada 30 Ogos hingga 01 September 2018 bertempat di Fullerton Hotel, Republik Singapura dengan bertemakan “Strengthening Friendships and Enhancing Regional Security”.
Mewakili Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) ialah Leftenan Kolonel (U) Hj Haszahaidi Bin Hj Ahmad Daud, Pemerintah Kumpulan Gerakan, TUDB dan Mejar (U) Amierul Halpi bin Talip, Timbalan Pegawai Turus A7 Latihan, TUDB.
Terdapat tiga objektif bagi mesyuarat tersebut, iaitu untuk mensahkan ASEAN Air Force Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief Standard Operating Procedure (AA HADR SOP) telah diuji sebelum diluluskan oleh ASEAN Air Chiefs. Kedua adalah mempamerkan laman sesawang ASEAN Air Chief Conference yang diubahsuai dan yang ketiga kelulusan bagi AAFET 3- Year Work Plan.
Mesyuarat AAFET – WG yang ke 6 di Negara Brunei Darussalam nanti akan dihoskan oleh TUDB. Salah satu agenda utama adalah AA HADR SOP yang akan dipraktikkan secara realistik dan kaji semula sebagai latihan Field Training Exercise (FTX).
